CoolVisions to put new options on show in Denver

Dyeable polypropylene manufacturer CoolVisions will have an expanded range of fibre options on show in Denver for the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market event (July 23 – 26) through a series of interpretations from mill partners around the world.

The range of textile and apparel products featuring CoolVisions will include knits, wovens, denims, and insulation fill. These will include a CoolVisions and cotton blend spun by Grupo Miro in Mexico, and WoolVisions, a blend of CoolVisions dyeable polypropylene staple with merino wool, spun by Chia Her in Taiwan. Further development of WoolVisions yarns is ongoing at Peignage DuMortier in France, Schoeller in Switzerland, Südwolle in Germany, and Patrick Yarns in the US.
Dyeable polypropylene filament from parent company Indorama Ventures in Thailand, also available from Taiwanese distributor Reamou, provides additional design and performance options, the company said in the build-up to the exhibition.

“CoolVisions dyeable polypropylene is a modern performance fibre with inherent moisture management, thermal regulation, and resistance to water-based stains—without the use of additives or topical enhancements,” said global sales and marketing manager, Susan Lynn. “This speeds the manufacturing process and lowers costs.”

She added that, with growing interest in sustainable textiles, it’s important to note that polypropylene has one of the lowest cradle-to-factory gate carbon footprint among synthetic fibres, and CoolVisions fibre is Oeko-Tex certified.
