Increase in international visitors at Milano Unica
Textile exhibition Milano Unica closed its twenty-seventh edition on July 12.

In total 607 exhibitors took part, displaying the textile collections for the autumn-winter 2019-2020 season in four halls of the Rho exhibition centre in Milan. Of these, 475 exhibitors were from Italy, a 4% increase on the July edition of Milano Unica last year. There were also dedicated areas for suppliers from Japan and Korea.

Across the three days of the event, around 6,000 visitors attended. This is more or less flat with the figure for the corresponding show last year, but organisers said there was a drop in the number of visitors from Italy. To compensate, visitor numbers from the Netherlands were up by 20%, while those from the US, Japan, China, France and Germany, were up by 9%, 6%, 5%, 3% and 3% respectively.
