Diverse programme for Textile Institute World Conference

The organisers of the Textile Institute World Conference, which takes place from July 23-26 in Leeds, UK, have unveiled details of the speakers who will present at the event.

The programme is split into four categories: innovations for natural fibres; functional textiles; technical textiles; and design, fashion and retail.

The opening address of the conference sessions on July 24 will be delivered by Katie Greenyer, World President of the Textile Institute. She is also creative director of the Pentland group.

The speakers are drawn from international universities, textile companies, chemical manufacturers, retail groups and research organisations.
