Ascend Performance Materials makes European acquisition

Ascend said the acquisition will provide it with a sixth manufacturing location and what chief executive, Phil McDivitt, called “a dedicated footprint for serving customers throughout Europe”.
Britannia Techno Polymer was founded in 2006 by Andrew Leigh, who will now join Ascend’s global management team as director of compounding technology. The Dutch based company’s employees will also join Ascend with immediate effect.
