Experienced figure to lead TNF’s footwear business

Outdoor brand The North Face (TNF) has appointed Jean-Marc Djian as its vice president of global footwear. He takes up this position immediately and will report to the brand’s global president, Arne Arens. 

“Jean-Marc’s experience driving footwear innovation at global performance brands coupled with two decades of leadership in the outdoor industry makes him a great addition to The North Face,” Mr Arens said. “As we continue to develop our organisation for global growth, I know that Jean-Marc’s deep industry expertise will help accelerate our footwear business.”

Mr Djian joins TNF with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the outdoor industry. He has previously served as vice president of global product marketing for footwear at Amer Sports, and led footwear strategy for Salomon, Arc’Teryx and Wilson.
