Ternua finds new way to save whales

And in tribute to whales, Ternua’s conservation efforts have included the adoption of four of the sea creatures so far, through specialist charity Whale and Dolphin Conservation.
The brand now believes it has come up with another way of potentially helping whales by channeling plastic waste into the material mix for its spring-summer 2019 collection of backpacks and travel accessories.
Recycled bottles and other post-industrial waste are contributing to the raw materials Ternua is using in the collection. “The waste could have ended up in the ocean, in the food chain of living species, but Ternua is going to give it a second life,” the brand has said.
