Intertextile Shanghai’s Functional Lab doubles in size

Organiser, Messe Frankfurt, said the change of date has been well received by exhibitors looking to take advantage of the earlier autumn-winter sourcing season. In previous years, the event took place in mid-October.
In total, 4,479 exhibitors travelled to Shanghai to take part in the event, representing 33 countries and regions.
The Functional Lab zone, a special area of the exhibition dedicated to performance textiles for outdoor and sports, more-than doubled its number of exhibitors compared to autumn 2017, reaching almost 120 this time. This year, the Functional Lab had its own Taiwan Pavilion, as well as pavilions for Invista and Hyosung and their suppliers and partners.
