“Exciting possibilities” from Indian textile giant tie-up

They will be made using what the partners call “new age fibre and filaments” from RIL’s R|Elan brand. This will include R|Elan Green Gold, manufactured out of recycled PET bottles.
As part of this partnership, RIL’s technical team will work closely with Vardhman to develop new manufacturing processes specifically for R|Elan fabrics.
Announcing the agreement, Suchita Jain, the joint managing director of Vardhman Textiles, said: “We see many exciting possibilities with R|Elan to create new fabric developments. Our strengths have always been rapid innovation and creating strong product ranges that are acceptable to brands, and Reliance is the perfect partner for our developments. The technical team at R|Elan is very supportive in enhancing our manufacturing prowess.”
