Sweden to be represented at ITMA Asia + CITME

Four Swedish machinery manufacturers will take part in the forthcoming combined ITMA ASIA + CITME exhibition, which will be held from October 15-19 in Shanghai.

The companies are: IRO, Eltex, Eton systems and ES Automatex.

Their participation at the event, which showcases textile machinery, will be supported by the Textile Machine Association of Sweden (TMAS).

TMAS has said China is an increasingly important market for Swedish machinery manufacturers, adding that its nine members companies are “at the forefront of automation and innovative production processes”.

“We know and understand the Chinese market, and we realise the trends for the future that will shape the Chinese textile and garment industry. We work in close collaboration with our customers and understand the market drivers. This enables us to constantly drive innovative breakthroughs in order for our customers to stay competitive,” said Mikael Äremann, president of TMAS.
