Improvement for Under Armour in Q3 results

Sports brand Under Armour has reported revenues of $1.4 billion for the third quarter of 2018, an increase of 3% compared to the same quarter in 2017. Operating income on this total was $119 million.

Apparel revenue increased by 4%, Under Armour said, to reach $978 million with growth coming especially in training, golf and team sports. Footwear revenue was flat at $285 million. Accessories revenue decreased 6% to $116 million.

Founder, Kevin Plank, said the third-quarter results demonstrate the Under Armour’s “transformation” is on track. He said: “We are staying sharply focused on our brand by connecting even more deeply with our consumers, while delivering industry-leading, innovative products and premium experiences.”
