First performance fleece designed specifically for running

Fabric developer Polartec has worked with running apparel brand Tracksmith to develop what the two companies have called the first performance fleece jackets designed specifically for running.

They have said the new product, called the Franklin fleece, is especially suitable for high-output training in cold weather for events such as cross-country or marathons.

It is made of soft Polartec Classic fleece, which the company says offers lightweight warmth and fast-drying breathability.
