Experienced figure to lead Mountain Hardwear’s North American sales

In this role, he will be responsible for developing and driving all aspects of the brand’s North American sales.
He has vast experience in the outdoor industry, having spent more than a decade at The North Face, including three years as global director of sales. He returns to the industry after a two-year sabbatical, during which he worked in the automotive and motorsport sector.
Announcing the appointment, Mountain Hardwear president Joe Vernachio said: “We are excited to have Troy bring his expertise to our brand. His proven track record of catalysing brand growth, advocating for dealers and building a strong sense of team fits perfectly into the leadership team we’ve worked hard to unite over the last 18 months.”
For his part, Mr Sicotte said his two years outside the outdor industry had given him “new perspective on the changing marketplace and true specialty retail”.
