Nike veteran to lead Columbia’s business in China

He joins Columbia from toy production company LEGO, where he was senior commercial director for the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to that, he spent two decades at Nike, eventually progressing to the position of senior sales director for Greater China and Southeast Asia.
“John’s long experience in footwear and apparel in Asia, and particularly in China, are a perfect fit for our growing China market,” said Tim Boyle, president and CEO of Columbia. “I look forward to John’s leadership contributions as we continue to evolve our brands to meet the needs of consumers around the globe.”
