Senior sports marketing figures leave Under Armour

Sports brand Under Armour has parted company with two senior sports marketing executives, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

Senior vice-president of global sports marketing, Ryan Kuehl, and senior director of sports marketing, Walker Jones, are the two executives the newspaper has named.

Mr Kuehl is a former American football star, having played for two prominent professional teams, the Cleveland Browns and the New York Giants.

Both had worked at Under Armour for years and have been described as forming part of the “inner circle” of chief executive and co-founder, Kevin Plank.
