Super Heroic was founded in 2016 by Jason Mayden and Harshal Sisodia. As well as footwear, it also sells T-shirts and hats for children.
As part of what Foot Locker called a “strategic investment”, its children’s division, Kids Foot Locker, will become the first brick-and-mortar retailer of Super Heroic products in the US. The group will also serve as a board advisor, partnering with the company on various growth initiatives.
Announcing the investment, Richard Johnson, Foot Locker’s chairman and CEO, said: "With its robust talent and cutting-edge innovation, we look forward to working with Jason and the entire Super Heroic team to offer an exciting, fresh product to our customers, while realising additional growth opportunities for the future.”
For his part, Mr Mayden said Foot Locker’s “unparalleled expertise” in footwear and apparel would allow the Super Heroic brand to go to the “next level”.
