Change at the top for Tanatex

15/01/2019
Textile chemicals manufacturer Tanatex put a new senior management team in place at the start of the new year. Jørgen Vendel took over as chief executive and the company also appointed a new chief finance officer, Calvin Qiu, and chief technology officer, Paul Oude Lenferink.

Tanatex was formed in 2007 following a management buy-out from Lanxess. The company became part of the Transfar Group in 2016. Former chief executive, Marco de Koning, and former chief finance officer, Arthur Hopmans left the copmany at the end 2018.

Mr de Konig said on leaving Tanatex that the aim had been to build an international textile chemical company that offered “solutions instead of mere products”. He said he was handing over the reins to the new management team with pride.
