Alabama and Georgia cotton farmers affected by March tornadoes

Cotton farmers in Alabama and Georgia appear to have been affected by tornadoes that hit the region at the start of March, causing more than 20 fatalities.

Alabama Cotton Producers said farmers were working with insurance companies to assess the damage. Cotton grows in 59 of the 67 counties in Alabama.
