In a presentation to investors at the start of March, Callaway said it has growth plans for all of its brands this year. In the golf arena, these plans include a new Flash driver under the Epic brand, which has a face created by artificial intelligence. Its irons brand, Apex, will undergo what the group called “a complete technology overhaul”. There will also be new shaft technology in the putters Callaway produces under the Odyssey brand.
The main announcement it made regarding Jack Wolfskin is that it intends to invest in expansion of the brand in two key markets, North America and Japan.
Callaway announced sales revenues for 2018 of more than $1.2 billion, an increase of 18.5% on the figure for 2017.
