ITMA order signals modernisation of Egypt’s textile industry

Cairo-based Cotton & Textile Industries Holding Company was the buyer, ordering seven compact- and ring- spinning systems for delivery over the next two years.
Rieter chief executive, Dr Norbert Klapper, said on making the announcement: “Rieter has been the partner of choice of the Egyptian spinning industry for decades. We are delighted to be given the opportunity of making such an important contribution to the modernisation of the Egyptian textile industry.”
