Middle-distance athletics body secures Saucony sponsorship

Running shoe brand Saucony is the new sponsor of The British Milers Club (BMC), an athletics club specifically for middle-distancwe runners. The agreement runs to the end of the 2022 season.

The partnership will cover a series of race events, including the English National Cross-Country Championships, England National Cross-Country Relays, Cambridge Half Marathon and Run Windsor.

Saucony UK & Ireland marketing manager, Gareth Lloyd, said on announcing the development: “We see the BMC as a vital feeder service into international and GB athletics. We aim to enhance these events and the race-day experience. Over the years many of Britain’s best distance runners have had breakthrough performances at BMC races. We hope to see this continue and look forward to helping athletes reach their full potential.”
