First-half growth of 7% for Inditex

11/09/2019
Fashion group Inditex has reported half-year revenues of more than €12.8 billion, an increase of 7% compared to the same period last year. Pre-tax earnings were more than €3.4 billion, up by 47% year on year.

Inditex, parent group of Zara and other fashion brands, said its success over the six months from February-July 2019 was down to its strategy of combining high-quality retail locations with growth in online sales.

At the time of the six-month period, the group had 7,420 shops across all its brands. These stores are in 96 different markets around the world and in 62 of those markets, Inditex offers online shopping too.
