New Huntsman polyurethane facility opens in Dubai

Huntsman Corporation has opened a new polyurethanes systems house in Dubai, saying the facility will strengthen its capabilities in the Middle East and North Africa by increasing its capacity to produce polyurethane systems and polyester polyols for customers across the region. 

The new systems house comprises a production area, blenders, reactors, filling stations, a control room, offices and quality control laboratories. Huntsman will use it to manufacture polyurethane foams for the footwear industry and other markets, and prepolymers for coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomer applications.
