Functional Lab serves Chinese market ambitions well

This is ten fewer exhibitors than were present at the same time last year, but organiser Messe Frankfurt said the performance textile companies present at the autumn 2019 edition occupied more exhibition space.
Creora was one of a number of prominent players who had not just stands but whole pavilions at Functional Lab. Global marketing director, Mike Simko, told WSA that Creora had brought 18 partners to the event.
He said Creora’s presence at the Functional Lab made it possible for the company to hold meetings with large numbers of customers and potential customers in the Chinese market. “The China-for-China market is strong,” he said. “And the demand for sustainability and new functionality among our customers here is high.”
Messe Frankfurt introduced the Functional Lab at the autumn 2015 edition of Intertextile Shanghai.
