Chinese group Shandong Ruyi has reported that Jining City Urban Construction Investment has become its second-largest shareholder with a $495.8 million investment.

Reuters quoted chairman, Yafu Qiu, as saying co-operation between state-owned enterprises and privately owned companies is becoming increasingly important in the market.

Jining is a city of 8 million people in the south-west of Shandong province.
