Nine-month results show that fast fashion still works for Inditex
Fast fashion may be facing fierce criticism for its role in encouraging excessive production and consumption of clothing and, therefore, of apparel waste, but it shows no sign of going quietly.

Exponent extraordinaire of the fast fashion phenomenon, Inditex, has reported sales revenues of €19.8 billion for the first nine months of its current business year (February-October 2019), growth of 7.5%. Inditex is the parent group of fashion brands such as Zara, Pull&Bear, Oysho and Massimo Dutti.

On presenting the results, Inditex president, Pablo Isla, said the figures confirmed that the group’s strategy continues to work well.
