CBD-infused compression wear brings jobs to North Carolina
Founder’s Hemp, a North Carolina-based hemp processing company, and biomaterials technology company Nufabrx have produced a compression sleeve infused with CBD (cannabidiol), an active ingredient in cannabis derived from the hemp plant.

Bob Crumley, CEO of Founder’s Hemp, said: “We want to get people thinking more about how hemp can be used to help grow other industries. We’re taking a new industry, hemp, and an old industry, textiles, and we’re using new technology to help rejuvenate textiles in North Carolina.”

In October, The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) established a domestic hemp production programme to create a regulatory framework around hemp production throughout the US.
 
Jordan Schindler, founder of Nufabrx, added: “Nufabrx is extremely excited to partner with Founder’s Hemp to launch an entirely new category of CBD-infused products.

“Health Wear is the next generation of clothing, with CBD and other actives built directly into the garment itself.”
