Headbands with sensors guide biofeedback meditation
Interaxon, a Canadian consumer neurotechnology and meditation company, has released a multisensor fabric headband that measures brain activity, heart rate, breathing and body movement through multiple biosensors.

Real-time data aims to help users undergo biofeedback-enhanced meditation, as they pair the device with the company’s voice guidance and soundscapes. Called the Muse S, this builds on the company’s selection of similar devices, but the softer headband form allows users to access the biofeedback at bedtime.

"We wanted to offer our users improved ways to hack their bedtime ritual through responsive guidance, neurofeedback and tangible data," said Chris Aimone, Muse co-founder and CTO. The product was designed to bring meditation to even more aspects of customers’ lives, he added, and make the company’s neurotechnology more versatile and comfortable.
