Performance shoe uses decoupled midsole

Describing the shoe as one designed for an “evolving fitness community”, Reebok has again adapted its Nano training shoe to better suit diverse functional training regimes.

The Nano X is a lightweight trainer with a Flexweave upper, high-density foam collar construction, and increased traction on the sole. A decoupled midsole (a split heel to better absorb shock) is said to improve “runnability”, using additional cushioning for a smoother stride.

Reebok said it has listened to the “ever-changing fitness space” on the design, which is part of a decade-old line. The company has been iterating on the Nano range for ten years, based on feedback from athletes, said Tal Short, senior product manager of training footwear.
