Lenzing’s Nanjing site back to full operation

After temporarily cutting back production at its Nanjing site in China, cellulose fibre producer Lenzing said it has “ramped up operations on all production lines to reach full capacity”.

Supply bottlenecks have been eliminated and all production lines are back to full operation, the company said.

“Recently, supply shortages of important raw materials arose as a result of intense transport controls [related to] the coronavirus,” the company said in a statement. Because of this, output from two production lines had to be briefly scaled back. Now, however, all production lines are now fully operational again as the manufacturing facility now has its required supplies.
