Kappa contract with Napoli extended while sponsorship talks continue

Italian football team Napoli and Italian sports brand Kappa have extended their sponsorship agreement for an additional two seasons, while heads of both discuss terms for a longer-term deal. 

The contract with Kappa, which has been in place since 2015, was due to expire on 30 June 2020. According to a statement from the club, the extension was agreed to so that Aurelio De Laurentiis, club president, and Marco Boglione, president of Kappa’s parent company, BasicNet, could continue discussions on a more expansive partnership.
