LOPEC, a trade fair for printed electronics, has developed a platform to serve its attendees during the “event-free” period. The Impulse — described as a 365-day platform — will launch on July 16, with a webinar on printed electronics that includes topics such as sensors in shoe soles for measuring running technique.

“Now exhibitors and visitors have the opportunity to gather and exchange information about trend topics in printed electronics all year round,” according to LOPEC (which stands for Large-area, Organic & Printed Electronics Convention). Virtual panel discussions will focus in part on topics of smart living and mobility.

Printed electronics opens up completely new perspectives in sports and leisure, the organisation said, and for medicine and health promotion and more. Registration for the webinar can be found on the LOPEC website.
