Shoe companies rally behind Two Ten’s appeal

The foundation was set up in the wake of the Great Depression to take care of footwear sector workers.
A new campaign encourages people, and companies, in the US to send shoes they no longer need to the charity, which will sell them on and use profits to help people.
Footwear brand Tiem has designed a shoe (pictured) in the Two Ten colours, and 30% of the sales proceeds will also go back into the foundation.
Two Ten said: “In the true spirit of Two Ten’s core mission to take care of each other in times of need, companies are helping us raise money for our COVID-19 Crisis Relief Fund by donating footwear to our covid-19 Share Your Shoes Campaign that can be monetised; launching marketing campaigns featuring limited edition products; and pledging a portion of proceeds from their website sales.”
