Rab aims for warmth and breathability in lighter-weight jacket
British mountaineering label Rab has released a lighter-weight jacket that is said to utilise the brand’s intelligent zoning and breathable inserts without bulk.
“Conceived as the next step in insulated layers,” Rab said on its website, the Raon jacket has intelligent zoning of materials using 800 fill power European goose down, Stratus insulation and Pertex Quantum Air panels and Atmos lightweight ripstop nylon.
Debuting the jacket on social media, the company posted a picture from the jacket’s photo shoot in Pointe Percée, France.
“Whilst we understand you guys can't get outside right now, we know we will all be out there soon enough,” wrote the company.
