Hunter to produce masks designed by surgeons and dressmakers

Northern Ireland-based Hunter Apparel is collaborating with Donegal’s Letterkenny University Hospital on the manufacture of masks.
The washable, reusable face mask pattern was developed by a group of surgeons and dressmakers from Letterkenny and Galway, to help in the response to covid-19. The group asked Hunter, whose apparel included washable RFID and other performance fabrics, to mass produce the masks.
Hunter has said the masks will provide PPE protection for the general public while also raising money for Donegal Clinical Research Academy.
