Duvaltex ramping up production on antimicrobial textiles
Duvaltex, which develops and produces technical and medical textiles, has said it is ramping up production on a full range of high-level gowns and antimicrobial scrub textiles for healthcare workers and patients in the US.
The engineered Level 1 and 2 reusable fabrics, according to the company, are woven to make medical and hospital gowns as well as laboratory and protective clothing, with and without antistatic performance capabilities.
Alain Duval, chief executive officer, said their textiles can be washed and reused more than 100 times. The company’s antimicrobial scrub fabric is used to make scrub shirts, tops, tunics, jackets, pants and uniforms.
