Viscose fibre producer Kelheim Fibres has appointed Dr Marina Crnoja-Cosic as its new head of new business development. She previously worked at Lenzing and led the team that began using that company’s Tencel fibre in footwear in 2015.

Kelheim chief executive, Craig Barker, said on announcing the appointment that the Bavarian company would seek to use Dr Crnoja-Cosic’s “wealth of experience” to intensify its focus on innovation.

“She has repeatedly proven that she is not afraid to tread new paths,” Mr Barker said. “We are very pleased to have her on board.”
