Performance apparel and protective accessories brand Shock Doctor has designed face masks and gaiters with material and design features specifically for athletes.

The protective facewear features a patent-pending multi-layer split design. Quick-Flip, as the split design is called, is said to allow the wearer to hydrate or access mouthguards without touching his or her face or removing the mask. The fabric is a lightweight moisture-wicking material that the company says is breathable and washable.
