Cotton industry information resource Cotlook has said that, by the end of August, spinning activity around the world had recovered to between 75% and 80% of normal levels.

Cotlook said purchasing interest in August, the first month of a new marketing season for cotton, “improved markedly”. It said there was particularly strong interest in Brazilian cotton.
