Latest HH tech won’t need chemical reproofing
Norwegian-based Helly Hansen has launched what the brand is calling its “most innovative and sustainable waterproof/breathable technology to date”.
The Life Infinity Pro is said to be a first-to-market technology made without any added chemical treatments. It combines a waterproof and breathable membrane with the brand’s hydrophobic Lifa face fabric. The company says it offers “everlasting water repellent protection that never needs to be reproofed with chemical treatment”.
Philip Tavell, Helly Hansen’s category managing director for ski, said the company worked with nearly a dozen ski professionals to develop the new technology. It will be featured in collections for freeride skiers and for backcountry ski touring.
