Ternua reinvents its trekking line
Basque outdoor brand Ternua says it has “reinvented” its trekking line in its latest collection, autumn-winter 2020.
At the heart of this is a combination of the brand’s own “sober, minimalist” design, soft finishes and sustainable, technical fabrics.
These fabrics include Stormfleece Pro from Singtex, which Ternua has described as “a perfect membrane-free windbreaker, very water-resistant, with high durability, elasticity and breathability”.
This is in addition to proprietary fabrics, including Dryshell, WarmshellBreathe and Microshell.
The brand has also used PrimaloftSilver Eco and Neokdun recycled down as filling in some of its garments.
The collection is 100% PFC-free. All of the cotton it uses is 100% organic and 63% of the polyester is recycled, using fibres recovered from carpets, fishing nets, plastic bottles and marine plastic waste.
