ISKO, Arena freestyle towards Icons collection

ISKO Denim and Arena activewear’s latest collaboration for FW20, Icons, uses “advanced” ISKO woven technology (Arquas 6.0) to make Arena athleisure pieces with a “knitted look and feel”. Inspired by 1980s design, the collection boasts “superior durability” and “great recovery power”, ISKO stated.

Lightweight, patented ISKO BlueJym fabric was incorporated in both black and white, owing to its “soft hand feel and all-day comfort”, plus its ability to deliver “dynamic stretch” and “athletic performance”.

Roberto Tiburzi, Arena product category manager, said: “Arena Icons is a creative lab where we mix our sports heritage with contemporary trends. The goal is to give birth to garments characterised by the maximum freedom of use. In this respect, denim represents the most iconic expression of freedom in clothing and, therefore, the adoption of this material has been a natural choice.”

The Icons campaign is fronted by Italian swimmer and 100m European freestyle champion, Alessandro Miressi (pictured).
