BASF raises prices of PU raw materials

Chemicals manufacturer BASF has announced increases in prices in the European market for butanediol and derivative products.

Its 1,4-Butanediol (BDO) product will go up in price by €300 per tonne. BDO and its derivatives are used in the production of polyurethanes, spandex fibres and other products.
