CELC updates Linen Dream Lab

The European Confederation of Flax and Hemp (CELC) is updating its Linen Dream Lab online tool for spring-summer 2022.

This online tool aims to inform brands and designers about innovations that CELC members and partners (spinners, weavers knitters and so on) have developed.

Paris-based CELC said this was part of a digital response to the major change the textile market is undergoing because of the temporary suspension of most tradeshows in their physical format.

Around 80% of the world’s production of scutched flax fibres originate from a band of land along the coast from Caen in France to Amsterdam. Flax represents less than 1% of all textile fibres consumed worldwide.
