Functional materials developer OrganoClick has signed a new five-year framework agreement with a leading nonwoven manufacturer, which it has not named.

The Swedish company will supply biobased binders to replace the plastic binders that the customer is using at the moment. It said the contract would be worth €3 million per year.

Chief executive, Mårten Hellberg, said OrganoClick had been working with the customer for more than two years but that the new agreement meant moving to full-scale production.
