Sports group Puma has announced that Hubert Hinterseher is to be its new chief financial officer and Arne Freundt its new chief commercial officer. Both appointments will start on June 1.

Mr Hinterseher has been at Puma for 16 years, most recently as global director of financial control. He will take over the CFO role from Michael Lämmermann, who has decided to retire after eight years in the role and a total of 28 years at Puma. He will stay on as an adviser until the end of the year.

For his part, Arne Freundt will take on the role of chief commercial officer with responsibility for sales and logistics. He has been with PUMA for 10 years, most recently as the group’s regional general manager for Europe.
