Fabric selection platform will help Pertex build collaboration
Technical fabrics developer Pertex is to launch a new online platform to help it build “even closer relationships and deeper collaboration” with its brand partners.
Called the Pertex Fabric Lab, the new platform will give partners access to the company’s latest fabric innovations and developments.
Brand director, Steve Laycock, said the initiative would help Pertex present fabric offerings “tailored to the specific needs of individual partners”, allowing them to make faster and more efficient fabric selections.
There will be a fully searchable fabric library, high-definition photography, complete fabric data and material sustainability insights. Users will be able to curate their own fabric selections, order swatches and samples, and submit R&D requests.
Further functionality, including 3D visualisation and fabric data, will be added in forthcoming updates.
