Construction to start on garment factory cluster near New Delhi

Media in India have reported that construction will begin in July on a new apparel industry manufacturing cluster at Noida, near New Delhi.

The Noida Apparel Export Cluster (NAEC) will cover an area of around 60 hectares and will host more than 90 new garment production facilities. It will also host skills training centres for employees who are new to the garment industry.

NAEC should come into operation in 2023, creating thousands of new jobs.
