Chinese IP complaint withdrawn, Milliken’s rival says

Guangzhou-based polymer chemistry specialist GCH Technology has told media in China that materials developer Milliken has withdrawn a court complaint against it.

Last year, the US company filed papers with the Guangdong Provincial Intellectual Property Office seeking to stop GCH from making and selling certain products that Milliken said infringed its Chinese patents.

GCH has told media in China that it has received formal notification that Milliken will not proceed with the case. Milliken has, so far, made no formal statement to confirm this.
