Strong consumer demand for products, adidas claims
Sales revenues for adidas in the first nine months of 2021 were €16.1 billion, more than 20% higher than the figure for the same period last year. There was growth in all geographies for the group.
Chief executive, Kasper Rorsted, put this growth down to successful product launches. He added that double-digit growth in adidas’s direct-to-consumer business in Europe, North America and Latin America was “testament to the strong consumer demand for our products”.
