Promotion for Eastman textiles marketing director

Eastman Chemical Company has announced that Ruth Farrell will become general manager for its textiles business at the start of April. She has been the global marketing director of the group’s textiles business since 2018.
Before joining Eastman, Ms Farrell worked for almost 13 years in senior communications and marketing roles at DuPont. She is based in Geneva.
President of fibres for Eastman, Burt Capel, said Ruth Farrell’s “passion and tireless energy” for the group’s cellulosic yarn brand, Naia, had led to growth, strong value chain partnerships and increased brand awareness.
